How to cook Salmon with the AirFryer
The AirFryers is about much more than just frying. Sure it can make crispy french fries and chicken wings, but it’s also great to cook meat, sausages and even fish! Today I want to show you how easy it is to cook salmon with the AirFryer.
This is a very basic recipe just on how to cook the salmon itself. In the video I serve it with a side of rice, but it could also go well with a side of vegetables which you can also cook with the AirFryer.
As for the seasoning, in the video I’ve used salt, a bit of paprika, lemon juice and olive oil, but you can definitely spice it up with whatever you like, or don’t add any spices at all, it’s up to you!
Your salmon will be ready to serve in just under 15 minutes including preparation. Now you’ll have no excuse not to eat fish!
Ingredients
- Slice of salmon
- Your choice of spices (personaly I like to use Paprika)
Preparation
- Season the salmon with your choice of spices
- Place in the AirFryer tray with the skin side touching the tray
- Set up the AirFryer to 10 minutes at 130º. 8 minutes if you like it slightly underdone or 12 minutes if you like it well done. (no need to preheat)
- Done!

This sounds like such an amazing appliance! I would love to ‘fry’ my foods without all the oil!
Harrisom … honestly the best investment I have made. Not only fries without oil or a little oil but things are done quickly too. So glad I bought this, use it everyday.
130 degrees for 10 minutes isn’t enough for a normal salmon filet.
Hi Jim!
Thanks for you input. I guess it depends on both the size of the filet you are trying to cook and how well done you like it. In my case 10min at 130 degrees were enough to achieve what you see in the photos, but like I said, it will depend on the size of the filet you are tryin g to cook. How lond did you need?
Great recipe!! Love the Air Fryer, its really convenient!!
I just bought one and did this tonight. It was cooked but the meat itself was t very warm. Is this normal?
Are you Centigrade or Fahrenheit?
I think it’s centigrade
I cooked a piece of salmon which was less than 1 pound in the air fryer for 10 min at 350. The fish was still raw. I cooked it more at 400 for 10 min more and the fish looks better
Mine only goes as low as 175 degrees 😣😣😣 What can I do?
